Kansas City At It Again

Well as usual, when something in KC seems too good to be true, it usually is. I haven't posted much on here mostly because of work, but also because I've just been too bummed lately and couldn't find much to be positive about. If one thing goes wrong, so does everything else, and there really is no explanation for it. Our major positive of the beginning of the year (pitching) has dried up and left for who knows where. Adding insult to injury, it seems our offense has never really arrived fully. I'm writing this just after a whopping 11-2 loss against the White Sox. I mean come on there isn't a real reason why the floor has dropped out, but I can't honestly tell if we'll ever see it again. The boys in blue need to hurry up and find their rythm, or it's gonna be a long road to September. We need to make it to the All-Star break and quick at that. There are 2 more games left against the ChiSox, then it's on to the Rays.

Game 2
Saturday May 30, 2009 at 6:10pm CT vs. Chicago White Sox
KAN Gil Meche (2-5), vs. CHW Mark Buehrle(6-1)

Game 3
Sunday May 31, 2009 at 1:10pm CT vs. Chicago White Sox
KAN Zack Greinke (8-1), vs. CHW John Danks (4-3)

The only positive is the obvious Zack Greinke. If you don't get run support though, then you don't get the win.
