Cards/Nats Preview

The best team in Major League Baseball, the St. Louis Cardinals travel to Washington to take on the worst team in baseball, the Nationals. The Cardinals are coming from Atlanta, where the Redbirds took 2 out of 3. The Nats come home after finishing up a 6 game road trip, the last 3 games being played in Philadelphia. The Nats were able to salvage game 3 of the series to avoid the sweep. Nationals thirdbaseman Ryan Zimmerman comes into the series with a club record 18 game hitting streak. St. Louis Cardinals All World 1st Baseman Albert Pujols comes into the series tied for 2nd in the NL in homers with 7 and leads the league in RBI's with 26.
